What it is

A design furniture brand for homes, offices and hospitality, creating and manufacturing its own products with a 1950s design influence — chairs, stools, tables, soft seating and outdoor.

What I did

• Founded and ran the company for seven years.
• Designed and brought to market our own products, including the Bristol chair with its injection-moulded polypropylene seat, and the Callisto range.
• Built the e-commerce operation: SGS-certified stock, a UK warehouse, 48-hour delivery, and multi-currency selling across thirteen European currencies.
• Ran both the consumer channel and trade enquiries.

What came of it

A product line owned outright rather than a catalogue resold, with the manufacturing and fulfilment chain to support it.
