I Revisited the Customer's Journey — Here's What I Found (Mind Mappings)
Mind-mapping the customer journey the way a screenwriter maps a hero's arc — with linked actions and a business funnel overlay.

Every purchase is a small hero's journey. The customer leaves an ordinary world, meets a problem, hesitates, and eventually crosses a threshold — your checkout.
I revisited it as a set of mind maps rather than a linear funnel. The maps make the loops visible: doubts, comparisons, reassurance loops, and the moments where trust is either won or quietly lost.
The hero customer's journey
Start with the customer as hero. Ordinary world → call → hesitation → mentor (your content, your reviews, your guarantees) → threshold (checkout) → reward (delivery, first success) → return with the elixir (repeat purchase, referral).
With the business funnel on top
Overlay the classic marketing funnel — awareness, consideration, decision, retention — and the gaps become obvious. Most teams optimise the middle. The wins hide at the edges: the first click, and the moment right after checkout.
Linked actions
Every hesitation on the customer side maps to an action on the business side: a review page to build trust, a chat trigger to defuse a specific objection, a shipping message to close the doubt. Draw the arrows both ways — the map only becomes useful when it tells you what to build next.
I'm always up for comparing notes with other entrepreneurs pointing AI at real business problems.
